Camelot Theatres at
Palm Springs Cultural Center

The Camelot Theatres at the Palm Springs Cultural Center will host AmDocs for a fifteenth straight year in 2026. Located in midtown Palm Springs, across the street from Palm Springs High School, this multi-screen complex is the festival's beloved home.
Cinema One features a full performance stage and the largest non-IMAX projection screen in the Coachella Valley — and one of the largest in all of Southern California. The venue provides Christie Digital world-class projection and Dolby sound throughout all three auditoriums.
In 2016, new upgraded seating with high chairbacks and cup holders was added to all theatres, creating a more pleasant filmgoing experience for audiences and filmmakers alike.
Conveniently located along Sunline bus transportation lines, with pickup and dropoff on East Baristo Road just outside the theatre property.

Venue Additions
Three exciting new venues are joining the AmDocs family, expanding the festival's footprint across the Coachella Valley.

The grande dame of Palm Springs, The Plaza Theatre opened in 1936 as a 700-seat movie palace and performing arts center. On Opening Night in December 1936, Greta Garbo appeared in person for the World Premiere of "Camille." The venue went on to host marquee performers such as Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, and Jack Benny in their heydays.
From 1991 to 2014, The Plaza Theatre was home to The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies. The iconic venue is currently undergoing a restoration process to return it to its original glory. AmDocs Founder Teddy Grouya is among the members of the Plaza Theatre Foundation, alongside former Palm Springs Mayor Kevin Corcoran, Kathleen Weremiuk, former Councilmember J.R. Roberts, Alan De Zon, John Bolton, and others — all working in coordination with the City of Palm Springs.
